New Client Consultation

Consultation Fee: $35.00

After your initial setup, you’re welcome to schedule as few as one visit at a time.

Each consultation lasts approximately 25–30 minutes (sometimes longer if needed — we never rush this important step). This is usually our one and only in-person meeting, where we take time to get to know each other and your pets.

What’s Included:

• Meet your pet(s) — and pass the all-important sniff test!
• Exchange questions and answers to ensure everyone’s comfortable.
• Take a quick tour of your home to understand your pet’s environment and care routines.
• Customize a care plan tailored to your pet’s individual needs.

Key Options:

You may choose one of the following entry options:

1. 3 sets of keys.
2. Provide a lock box with 2 sets of keys inside.
3. Electronic door lock.

We do not use garage doors as the only form of entry due to the potential for malfunctions or power outages. A backup key in a lockbox is always required.

Key Copy Fee: $10.00 per key (if we need to make copies ourselves)

Additional Visits

If additional trips are needed after the initial consultation, standard pet sitting rates apply.
This may occur if:

• You want to show us new instructions or changes in person
• We need to do a trial visit to ensure we’re the right fit for your pet

Reservations: Request all visits online. Reservations are made to plan sitter availability to clients.  Therefore, clients returning home early will be required to pay for the reserved amount of time scheduled

Returning Home: All clients are to confirm their return home to Back 2 Back Pet Care; otherwise, we will continue to make visits to ensure the well-being of your pet(s) at standard pet sitting rates

Payments: Payment is due in full on or before the first day of service unless other arrangements have been made. For your convenience, we accept Visa, MC and Discover. Payments can be made through your client profile page

Arrival & Departing times: Are GPS captured. We check in and out of each visit from our vehicle

Rabies Vaccinations:  Must be current

Aggressive Pets:  We do not provide pet sitting for aggressive pets

Contagious Pets: We do not provide pet sitting to pets who are at risk of infecting others

Rates and time subject to change without notice

Holidays:

+ 50% per visit

Holidays include: New Years Day, President’s Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Years Eve

Any visits that include: Thanksgiving and day after, Christmas Eve and day and New Years Eve and day require a 50% non-refundable deposit payable at the time your reservation is made.  Payment in full is due 7 days before 1st day of service. 100% due if cancelled with in 7 days of your scheduled service. Your reservation is not guaranteed until the deposit is received

Surcharges:

• Weekends: +$7.50 per visit
• After Hours: +50% per visit
• Holidays: +50% per visit
• New client consultations: $35.00

Credits: Any credit on your account is good for one year and can be applied to future services

Visit Hours: Dog Walking 9am – 3pm, Pet Sitting 7:00am – 7pm, Overnights 8pm – 6am/8am
